Save Money with Free Calling and Texting Apps

Mobile phone bills just seem to be growing larger and larger by the day, and for individuals on any sort of budget, this can become difficult to afford. With the innovation of smart phones, cmobile phone bills have gone from £40 a month to well over £100 a month in just a few short years. However, there are a few ways to cut into those large numbers. There are applications that allow individuals to directly call and text individuals from anywhere in the world, all without having to use any of their minutes and texts to do so.

One application that allows individuals to do this is called Viber. This lets individuals set texts and make calls to other Viber users wherever they are in the world. The application is free to download and it also doesn’t have any ads, which is very nice. This sort of application is going to run off of Wi-Fi or 3G (or better) networks.

If someone already has unlimited calls and  is looking for free texts, the application WhatsApp is an excellent option. This application allows individuals to send and receive messages for free with anyone who has the application. As of right now, individuals can download the application and use it for free for up to a year, and beyond that there is a small fee, but it is far better than shelling out money for the monthly text fees many mobile phone providers charge.
