National Allotment week was last week, 4th-10th August. To celebrate this Easyshed hosted a National Allotment competition, we decided on the 10 best Allotment blogs and the public voted for their favourite blog over the week. We manged to get 265 votes! The winner of the shed received a £50 Amazon voucher.

Congratulations to the winner of the Allotment Blog Competition: Not Just Greenfingers.

Not Just Greenfingers is a stay at home mum with a wonderful husband and two lovely daughters aged 15 and 13.  They live on an ordinary street, in a 1930?s semi-detached house in Leicester, UK.  She has four allotments and grow most of her own own fruit and vegetables. She makes her own bread and cooks from scratch whenever possible.  She makes jam, pickles, chutneys, apple juice, etc. and cleans the old fashioned way using vinegar, lemon juice and bi-carb.
